Energy. Compact sonority. Melody. Speed. Sweetness. A message. A dream coming true. Dreams lived so far. Inner search. Getting off cheap and singing easy slogans is a trick used by most of the alternative bands all over the world, and it's exactly what the Sun Eats Hours WON'T DO. This formula rises with the band in 1997 ."The Sun Eats Hours have been widely appreciated through the years by the punk hard core scene thanks to their continuity and devotion, along with their deep love for Music, for the Band and for the Fans." Even if it sounds nice, the name SUN EATS HOURS is not a simple pun, but instead it has a deep meaning that reflects the band's beliefs. It's an old Italian saying, meaning "Live your time; any moment; don't waste it, because time is passing by".  The Band's fame has risen steadily since 1999, when its very first self-produced compact disk is released. Though still young, the Sun Eats Hours earn the applause of many kids who find in them the same energy so finely conveyed between '92 and ‘98 from bands like Nofx, Offspring, Bad Religion, Pennywise, Lag Wagon, Rancid... The band goes further on releasing a new promo CD in search of a label, coming to the attention of the major European and American labels, which memo them as "one of the bands to keep in touch with". After a short time the S.E.H. takes part in the Agitato Records crew. With "Don't Waste Time", the first official full length album, the S.E.H. gets cast at high speed under the limelight of the Italian underground scene, becoming one of the new landmarks for the "Made in Italy" melodic hardcore. Since then, the Band moves relentlessly from town to town performing a lot of live gigs, and supporting some of the best worldwide known punk hardcore bands such as Offspring, Pennywise, Afi, Sick of it all, Frenzal Rhomb, Undeclinable. Among these, they also take part in the best festivals and events: INDEPENDENT DAYS FESTIVAL 2001 and DECONSTRUCTION TOUR 2001. The Band also appears in many and important compilations and gets more and more appreciated by the media, gaining many positive reviews on magazines and webzines. During December 2001 the Band stops its live activity and concentrates in recording the new album which would be released in April 2002. "Will", the new album, is immediately reviewed very positively by all of the most important Italian webzines and the best known magazines. It isn't hard to notice how impressive such work is, for the superior maturity shown by the Band both in production and in its strong, original contents. The Band gets back on the road playing on, increasing its fans from gig to gig and offering explosive shows! During the summer of 2001, the Sun Eats Hours supports the whole Italian tour of the punk legend VANDALS, after which they hop on the caravan of the fascinating ANTI TOUR 2002 sharing the stage with Ska P, La Ruda Salska... They also take part in the Independent explosion tour 2002 festival. Thanks to this intense live activity the Sun Eats Hours increase its fan base exponentially, fact also reflected by the numerous visits to the official website www.suneatshours.com.On the 28 of March 2003 TOUR ALL OVER is released, giving the band a lot of attention from magazines, fanzines, and web zines, with great reviews. "This CD is absolutely amazing straight up melodic hardcore, fast paced and skilfully performed. One of the best I ever heard my whole life. I think SEH could teach many North American bands how to play true melodic hardcore. This record is without a doubt one of the best in the genre ever released in the whole world" (Punkinternational.com) In 2003, they support the Italian tour of Ska P in front of thousands of people. They are also called to perform as the Italian act at the DECONSTRUCTION 2003, with Nofx, Strung Out, Boysetsfire ... The Band has two videoclips out during the year and is going to shoot one more.
